We offer a Hosted Telephony solution that is a fully featured PABX replacement service, where the customer rents the required seats and services on a monthly basis.
This combines a compelling economic model enterprise feature for businesses of any size, without the usual capital expenditure costs associated with owning technology assets.
All services are delivered over any IP connection, including ADSL, Leased Lines and Wireless with no call processing on the customer site – everything is hosted in the redundant Hosted IP core. This provides the customer with a market leading Unified Communications solution at a fraction of the capital expenditure of a PABX equivalent.
All IP handsets are pre-configured with the user DDI, services and group membership ready to be connected to the voice LAN. This greatly simplifies initial deployment and on-going support.
The key customer advantage is that the system offers real business benefits over tradition on-site PABX solutions, along with being easier to manage and more cost-effective in terms of both CAPEX or OPEX.
Icom, as per usual, delivered. Their superb project management and ability to work tremendously well with the other contractors, made it easy. They were the first to offer solutions when problems arose. They remained professional and unshakeable throughout. However, we knew this would be the case before we even began and it is why we continue to use them, again and again.
The team that was sent to Hayling Island have done a grand job - no complications and a high level of quality. The manager commented after they had gone on what a seamless job they had done with very little disruption to his branch. I look forward to their return to complete the counter refit.

Icom have offered us a truly professional and well managed installation on countless occasions. Installations on site are consistently well managed, completed efficiently and with minimum supervision. Moreover, quality of work at handover has always been first class from Icom in our experience: labelling, accuracy of records and test result data is always faultless. The university now has over 1,000 users directly connected to infrastructure cabling delivered by Icom over the last 5 years.
Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the efforts of your team in cabling the Armstrong way project. My understanding from the Trust team was that the Icom team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and all-round pleasure to work with. Further to this the work was completed on time and to a high standard which has enabled my team to complete the move and allow 240 Trust staff to move into their new location with minimal issues. The Trust and I view this as an extremely successful project.

The Engineers allocated to my branches were excellent. They were helpful and efficient and worked around the day to day working of the branches causing very little disruption to the branches. I wanted to pass on some feedback regarding the recent WiFi installation at Battersea: Coverage at the site is “exceptional”. Great signal strength across the site and noise/interference is minimal. The quality of the installation work has also been described as “excellent” – height, positioning, containment etc. It’s a shame that the AP’s have to be behind the ceiling but that isn’t your fault and is the same at all LR/JLR. Great work – well done and thank you!
Icom have been a successful supplier in winning bids for numerous NHS tenders over the last 5 years in Kent. During an incident in September 2013 where a communications room was flooded at Edenbridge Hospital, Icom were in the site within an hour of hearing the news. Icom were able to act quickly in sourcing replacement parts working alongside the IT team to keep the IT and telecoms downtime to a minimum ensuring clinical services were able to resume promptly.
This was a challenging project for all involved, as part of the Infrastructure requirements needed was to segregate our Regional Office and our Store Infrastructure. Our IT team members worked out of hours to ensure the new network infrastructure was installed successfully. This was completed without a single interruption to our store systems. A big thank you goes out to our Infrastructure and Operations team as well as our external partner Icom for making this happen.
