The client and their brief – Installing a VoIP telephony system

MC Group has been providing transport solutions for 30 years. With a demonstrable track record of delivering quality vehicles, rental options, aftersales and excellent back-up on a national level, MC Group is a leader in commercial vehicle solutions. They asked Icom to replace their Avaya IP Office system with a new VoIP telephony solution at their Larkfield branch. The client also needed to add additional lines and users to their system.

The Icom approach

Installing Icom Hosted Telephony, including 32 users and an Operator Console, was the right solution for their needs. The installation was smooth-running and we encountered no problems during the switch over. The client was able to continue their day-to-day operations with no disruption.

The client had previously been experiencing problems with their network and VoIP solution but these issues have been eradicated since our install. This is great news for the smooth running of their business.

The Results

Now that the customer is experiencing a fully-working system, we are hoping to install our VoIP system in their other seven sites.
