The client and their brief – Installing new data cabling systems

Our client is an American multinational corporation which designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software and personal computers. They have been a valued customer for over nine years. They asked Icom to design and install new data cabling systems in a refurbished building that would become their new Training Centre in London.

The most important aspects of this project were enhancing data communication and installing the most up-to-date cabling system.

The Icom approach

Working closely with their IT department, we were able to identify their specific needs and therefore installed 704 CAT-6a, U/UTP cabling to support their:

• CCTV,
• Wi-Fi,
• AV,
• Computer systems,
• IP telephony.

We were also able to provide them with the required 10 Gig connectivity.

The Results

Icom finished the installation on time. We ensured the successful completion of this project and provided them with the latest technology in data networking.
