The client and brief – Reviewing and updating telephony and data cabling systems

Price Bailey is an established accounting firm with seven office locations. It is one of the UK’s top accounting firms in terms of turnover, with 22 partners and 200 employees. Purchase Direct introduced them to Icom  following a review of their overheads and utility costs. After this first introduction, Price Bailey asked us to review their current data cabling, networking and telephony systems.

The Icom Approach

First of all, our engineers assessed their requirements. Then, we recommended a new solution, offering Price Bailey substantial savings on data and telephony costs and an improved service.

Icom installed a Nortel BCM telephony system, new Cat-5 cabling and electrical wiring in their Norwich branch, providing each user with DDI (Direct Dial-In) and voicemail function as standard.

Under Dave Hindmarsh’s management, Icom relocated their city offices and was able to boost their current PBX System (Private System Network), delivering another cost-effective solution.

The results

Icom has now established a long-term relationship with Price Bailey thanks to the outstanding support provided by our engineers and customer division.
