The launch of our new look website forms the latest part of a strategy to build on Icom’s success as THE go to company in the UK for telecoms solutions and infrastructure.

We tend to quietly focus on a job well done, this site allows us to share more on what we’re delivering for our customers as well as new contracts and other updates.

It’s already been quite a year. As the industry continues to evolve and diversify, so do we; but at the core, our ethos of great customer service continues. This means that not only are we establishing new relationships, we are also able to continue providing great service to our long-standing clients.

Our recent orders and contracts include the following:

Large order for IP Office installations

We have installed 59 IP office systems at new stores and 35 IP office systems at store refits, for a major global retailer. We’ve been providing Telecom solutions and infrastructure for our client since 2002 and continue to do so as they expand throughout Europe, which is testament to our relationship and service. It also means that our engineers and project managers get the opportunity to travel around Europe on installs and refits and although they may not be broadening their language skills, they are sampling new cuisine and an occasional Austrian chilled beverage.

New contracts for NHS installations

In the same vein, we have also won significant contracts with the East Kent NHS. These contracts, which include the installation of Nurse Call Systems in three Acute Hospitals and installations of Emergency Lighting Systems, are due to Icom’s Crown Commercial Service (formally PSN) accreditation and our long-standing record in providing great service and savings to the Public Sector.

Fresh cabling supply for global electronics client

Our cabling department also have reason to feel proud as we further our relationship with our client who is the global leader of consumer electronics.  We are directly supplying our customer with 1200 CAT6a Panduit and Fibre and look forward to continued growth within the UK and Europe together.

Icom offers new hosted service

Our own Hosted Mitel PBX service is going from strength to strength with customers in both private and public sectors now LIVE on our system and enjoying all the benefits of an easy and reliable hosted service.
